Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who is responsible
PayVenia is responsible for the personal data processed on PayVenia. Contact: support@payvenia.com.
2. What we collect
- Buyers: name, email, billing country, delivery address for physical products, what you bought and when. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see the full number.
- Vendors and affiliates: account details, business details, identity documents and a verification photo, tax forms, payout account details, and your sales and payout history.
- Everyone: messages you send us, and technical data such as IP address and browser, used for security and fraud prevention.
- Affiliate tracking: a cookie that remembers which affiliate link you came from, for 30 days.
- Delivery records: when you open a purchase you have paid for, the date, time and your IP address. The seller can see this for their own orders, and uses it to show a purchase was delivered if a payment is ever disputed.
3. Why we use it
- to process payments, deliver orders, issue invoices and handle refunds (performing the contract);
- to verify identities, pay vendors and affiliates, and meet tax and anti-money-laundering rules (legal obligation);
- to prevent fraud and keep the platform secure (legitimate interest);
- to answer your messages.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
- The vendor you bought from (and, in limited form, the affiliate who referred you) — so they can deliver and support your order. Affiliates do not see buyers' email addresses.
- Service providers that run parts of the platform for us: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email), and the banks or payment services that deliver payouts.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers are in the United States. Where data leaves your country, it is protected by the providers' standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 10 years). Verification documents are kept while the account is open and for up to 5 years after, as anti-money-laundering rules require. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Some data we must keep by law. Write to support@payvenia.com or use the contact form. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
7. Cookies
Our own cookies are the ones the platform needs: to keep you signed in, to protect forms, to remember an affiliate referral for 30 days, and to remember your privacy choice. We do not use cookies to advertise to you.
Sellers may add their own measurement tools to their product pages — Google Analytics, the Meta pixel or Hyros. Those are the seller’s, they load on the seller’s page, and they report to the company that makes them. You can switch all of them off for your browser at any time on Your Privacy Choices.
8. If you are in the United States
State privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we honour that opt-out for the seller tools described above. Exercise it on Your Privacy Choices — no account needed. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as an opt-out automatically and do not ask you again.
Depending on your state you may also have the right to know what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these. Use the addresses in section 6. We do not knowingly process the personal information of children, and we do not use personal information to profile anybody for decisions made without a person involved.
9. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes are announced by email to account holders.
